Description

Zagreb is an enchanting and beautiful city, but in order to experience all of its beauty and peculiarities, you will need a little help from your local guide.

The city tour covers the most significant sites of the Upper and Lower town, as well as Kaptol – historically the most important parts that are today known under the common name of the city of Zagreb.

The story begins to unfold like this: “Once upon a time there were two fortified mediaeval towns on top of two neighbouring hills”, however in this story there is room for the secret of the Bloody Bridge, the Zagreb witches, the legend of the origin of the name Zagreb, and the legend of the Croatian coat of arms. In our story there is also room for the shortest public funicular in the world, the Museum of Broken Relationships, one artillery man and his cannon, one lamplighter, and many other interesting details.

Every good story of a city has to include a story of its farmer’s market… in this case, it is the one about the Dolac market. It is a story of Croatian gastronomy, of typical local dishes, of sipping coffee the Croatian way, of how to recognize a “kumica” (typical lady of the market selling her fruit and vegetables in Dolac).

During this tour you will also learn some useful Croatian words and get loads of information on where to eat, what to drink, what kind of souvenirs to buy, and advice on where to go or what to see next in Croatia.

A small gift included for everyone.
